We think housing should be like a forest - dense, vibrant, and growing over time. Our mission is to provide healthy and financially accessible housing to Vergennes and Addison County while increasing density in our village centers.

“Tim is great to work with and very adaptable. He and Karl have a keen sense of structure, aesthetic, logistics and their attention to craftsmanship shines. On top of that, a considerable amount of thought and effort was given to ensuring energy efficiency. We now have a beautiful apartment and a three car garage. The whole process couldn’t have been any smoother and the finished product couldn’t be better.”

Modern two-story house with a metal and wood exterior, large windows, a small balcony, and a flat roof, situated next to a wooded area with snow on the ground.

“We hired Young Forest Homes to build an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) in our barn for my aging parents, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Tim has a keen sense of design; he skillfully honored our aesthetic vision and preserved the character of an old barn while considering safety, elderly mobility, privacy and our slim budget. Tim is a passionate champion of promoting accessory dwelling units as a viable and affordable home, and thanks to him my parents now have a safe, accessible home where they can age in place with dignity and comfort. What sets Tim and his team apart is that they not only care about their work, they care about the people for whom they work. .”

Recent Work

Our practice spans from environmental retrofits of existing buildings to the complete planning and design of new neighborhoods and public spaces. While our work is aesthetically diverse, our projects are linked by a focus on enhancing human relationships through architecture.

Let’s Work Together
